Final Conference presentation
Bruxelles
-

The conference brought together researchers, policymakers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, payers, industry representatives, clinicians, and patient organisations. The diversity of participants reflected the project’s core objective: fostering informed dialogue on how to balance the sustainability of health innovation with the long-term sustainability of healthcare systems.

During the event, the consortium presented key findings and policy-relevant insights, including:

Mechanisms to stimulate innovation in healthcare

An analysis of the current landscape of innovative pricing and payment schemes

Approaches to broadening the scope of pricing and payment models

The impact of innovative pricing on pharmaceutical markets

The conference provided an opportunity to reflect on the project’s results, exchange perspectives across stakeholder groups, and consider future policy directions. While HI-PRIX officially concludes this month, the challenges it addressed remain highly relevant, and the discussions initiated during the project are expected to continue informing the debate on sustainable health innovation.
